Flash video, prevent more than one video playing at a time

Hi,

On my site I have four flash videos on most pages. Is there any way to prevent more than playing? They all use the object tag and someone can click play on all four of them and cause issues.

That’s supposed to be a parameter, if I recall well… you should be able to choose the autoplay. Which is a bad practice, anyway.

Presumably you are asking how to prevent more than one playing at a time? Other than putting only one on the page, you could perhaps set this up as a kind of lightbox gallery: 4 image on the page; as you click one, a modal box presents one video; if the user closes that, the video disappears, and they can open another video … etc. That a suggestion, anyhow.

Thanks yes thats what am asking. Unfortuantly I need all 4 on a page, was hoping there would be a way to only let one play at a time without rejigging the page at all?
