FeedBurner will not recognize feed

I have taken over management of a Wordpress based website and I am trying to add an email subscription option using FeedBurner.

Trying to register the feed with Googles Feeedburner using the: parklandxcskiclub.org/feed/ url I get a “Timeout while fetching the feed.” error so I don’t know if this is an error with the existing Wordpress configuration or something else?

The RSS feed seems to work in Google and Mail.

Any ideas on where to start looking?

It appears that maybe a Wordpress plugin was causing the timeout error.

I disabled all Wordpress plugins and was able to get the feed to register with Feedburner.
