Hi everyone,

A client is complaining that in the events section of a site I built, when she posts the link to Facebook, Facebook doesn’t show any image or text from the page. The site validates and is fine code. Does anyone know how Facebook finds the text for the page. Does it read meta-data?

Yeah, i think it reads the metadata description as well. That sorts out the text, not too sure abt the image. Maybe facebook adds that in if they find valid meta data.

I think it read meta-data, so you must write for meta-data your page
