I always code everything in the HTML file, for me this is the easiest way to do it, because I always update something to the code, and having one file only is preferable, looks like you Mittineague agree with that as well, to an extent, so you understand where I come from.
I’m no expert, but so far I was able to combine html, js, css and even a few graphics, as well as font files (base64 encoding) into one html file, all the time, no exception (up until now). However this time I just can’t get it to work, due to my limited ability to code.
Before starting to research on the subject, I did not think that it would be overly complicated, but you guys obviously know better. Like I said all the websites I code (personal hobby ones) are one self-contained html file, they may be fairly large files, but surprisingly the load time is still short.
No matter how complex, one file is what I’m after. I will still be looking for a way to get that on one file, and if I find the solution I’ll post it here.
So, if somebody knows the solution I’m all “ears”…
