Don't pay for SEO - do it yourself

Nowadays I see the internet is flooded with companies - that sell their SEO work… But why would you pay for this? That’s ridiculous - there’s a lot of things you can learn for free and do it yourself - you do not need to pay someone to do it, unless you’re too lazy to do it yourself.

I know its saves money and is a lot easier to do it yourself…

So, what do you think? Paid SEO or do it yourself?

I would say lazy … I would say I don’t have time.
Another plus would be … maybe they have new ideas.

If building a website for personal use then DIY and if for business purpose then better to hire a company that provides guaranteed ranking, traffic and revenue. Though nothing is guaranteed in SEO.

I don’t want to mention the SEO service specifically, but I need your opinion on this type of SEO service offering and get your take if it achievable with white SEO tactics and an “algorithm” that the firm is “not at liberty” to explain.

Pitch from SEO service:

We will not take any payment unless we move your site to page 1 with your desired keywords.

We don’t charge you until you reach page 1.

Now I summarized that, it’s not their exact pitch, regardless, is the substance of that offering achievable with white hat SEO tactics?

SEO by professional companies or SEO consultant can get a long list of visitors for your websites, SEO is a separate profession with its own ins and its not that simple to do this, there is so much methods and techniques are required to do SEO job marvelously.

With the help from Google anything is possible. But paid SEO will be better because these guys are professional & work in the field with a lot of knowledge. So hiring them will be a good option rather than self learning & starting yourself from the basics.

Not necessarily! Unlike the established professions, there are no professional standards for SEO, or any other aspect of web design. So while you might get a professional, you might get a cowboy. It’s the equivalent of going to a man in greasy overalls by the side of the road holding a sign saying “Carr repairs wile you waite” and expecting your car to be in a driveable state when he’s finished it. Unfortunately there are a lot of SEO “professionals” whose work will do you more harm than good.

Well, nobody can “guarantee” rankings - that’s an SEO myth, and pure garbage coming from people in the SEO world.

It takes time for to obtain good rankings - especially since good websites tend to rank well, but then again, how can one promise rankings? I’d love to hear your views on this!

I do my own SEO and it’s time consuming. Sometimes we don’t really have enough time to do SEO when we need to concentrate of some others more important business. If i have time. then i’ll do else will just leave it for a while. If can hire SEO job from SEO company, then i can concentrate on others stuff. Depends.

I think some people will need the support of a company especially when they get busy, but there is really no need it can’t be done by yourself, especially the main leg work.

It’s all about trading time for dollars. If you have the time to learn SEO and to do the work involved then do it yourself.
If your time spent elsewhere would be more productive then you should hire someone to do your SEO.
