Do search engines crawl dreaqmweaver .lbi ifiles?

i’m constructing in DW but my pro-bono client updates in a text editor. i want to put the description and keyword meta tages in a DW library (.lbi) file so she only had to update one file.

my understanding is that the page and content block relationship functions pretty much like server-side includes, only the DW “includes” have a different (proprietary?) fine name extension.

will search engines still be able to see the terms?

thanks!

What matters is the source code that is output when you hit on a web page. Anything that is shown in the source code can be read by search spiders. Anything that isn’t in the source code won’t be read by search spiders.

Hi,

Yes major engines can crawl and index text-based .lbi files. If you need proof, just need to make search engine friendly files on each SE.

Source code is most important for search engine.

It’s not, but I’ll bite; what makes you believe that?
