There will come a point where there is simply insufficient space for all items in the row, and they will have to wrap to another row.

The menu will wrap automatically when it runs out of space. I thought that was what you were describing as happening now?

You could set a fixed width on the menu, which will keep it together on one row, but again, it will run out of space once it’s zoomed beyond a certain point and in that case will then throw a horizontal scroll bar.
