CSS print stylesheet problem

Hi all,

Iv edited my style.css to create a print.css sheet so restaurant menus can be viewed minus imagery etc.

Problem when using ff.

The print preview works great for this page http://www.icehouseonline.co.uk/christmas_menu.php

but for this page http://www.icehouseonline.co.uk/dinner_menu.php it just doesnt seem to work.

Can anyone shed any light on what might be going wrong?

Thanks loads

Kyle

so you need to apply css for “quarter of the menu on it before it fades off to the footer info” so it will not bother you any more.

here are some pointers regarding print style sheets: a list apart

the problem isnt the images though, i dont want there to be any images when printed thats why Iv set up the print.css stylesheet. what im concerned about is the blank pages when printing the page i highlighted in the previous post

try with dopdf see if the pdf doc you get has any images.

for example, when i print this sp page, i get a pdf with all the images, but when i try your page i get no images.

Hi noonnop,

Yeah Iv set the imagery etc to display none, problem is when I print http://www.icehouseonline.co.uk/dinner_menu.php the first page is virtually blank and the second page has a quarter of the menu on it before it fades off to the footer info?

well, i tried it and both have no imagery on them. i’ve used a virtual pdf printer.
