In some websites, there is an option (usually in the footer section) that allows the users to connect on Facebook with the owner o the website. How can I implement the same functionality in y own website.

At its simplest, you can just link to your Facebook account. When you say “connect”, though, what functionality do you have in mind? As felgall says, Facebook provides a range of buttons for various purposes.
