Christmas tree!

No, sorry to disappoint you.

I did think it was ideal for the Sitepoint Bookstore.

I do not have a tree yet, it is on my Christmas Shopping List :hohoho:

I was wondering the same thing when I didn’t see a mess of the typical white-blue-orange spines.

Genius

My only quibble is … why would anyone’s bookcase have so few books on it? Mine has every shelf full, plus books lying horizontally on top of other books wherever there’s headroom on the shelf, plus all thebooks that don’t fit on the shelves at all…

+1 - except in my case, it’s “mine have” (in the plural).

I think not. My impression was that there is only ONE bookcase; which contains many shelves.

@Stevie_D; needs to clarify this.

I think I need to clarify - it’s my own multiple bookcases I’m referring to. His (one) has every shelf full, etc., and my (seven) have every shelf full, etc…

Wow. I now realize how ambiguous your short statement was

You intended the “except in my case” to refer to the bookcases.
I read it as referring to the “+1”

Which, on further reflection simply makes no sense.

It sounded pretty concise to me. I thought you were teasing her. But one should never tease a full grown Bear !

[ot]

Or, more accurately, never tease a hungry Bear.[/ot]

'cause it was an IKEA bookcase Season’s Greetings advertisement in Dec. 2011.
But the idea wasn’t quite original, at least before Nov. 2007 stylist Frank Visser published it as design idea.

I have more bookcases too, but no way any space for a Christmas Tree in one of them.
BTW: does a hungry full grown Bear eat books? Could help to tidy up my bookcases.

Nothing ambigulous about it at all.
“+1” in interweb parlance means “I agree”, “Me too”, “AOL!” or similar acquiescence.
I have a singular bookcase. Lesley, apparently, has a plurality of bookcases.

[ot]

Not this one, anyway - I much prefer porridge.

I think you may be confusing bears with goats…:shifty:[/ot]

Of course, you aren’t a TechnoGoat, how could I make such a terrible mistake? [/ot]

[ot]

So you’re the Peeping Tom](http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4056/4339338951_aee2a6c3e3.jpg) - and here we were blaming Goldilocks again … :nono: (Great picture, though.)[/ot]

Off Topic:

It is not our problem that Goldilocks is such a curious girl… or that you always think that she’s to blame for everything :stuck_out_tongue:

[ot]

Curious girl? She’s a house-breaking delinquent. :unhappy:[/ot]

Off Topic:

Well… you know what they say… Blondes have more fun :stuck_out_tongue:

This year my Christmas tree is in bloom:

[ot]

Impossible it was me! After seeing Lady Godiva around AD 1000, I was struck with blindness and couldn’t find the magic potion to heal. :stuck_out_tongue:
