Catchable fatal error

Hi

I am getting this error when I press log in button in my Wordpress site: :

Catchable fatal error: Argument 2 passed to WPaaS\Log\Components\User::callback_wp_login() must be an instance of WP_User, none given in/home/content/n3pnexwpnas02_data02/84/3483384/html/wp-content/mu-plugins/gd-system-plugin/includes/log/components/class-user.php on line 200

Please help in resolving this problem.
Thanks in advance.

It could be a plugin that is causing this issue. Do you have access to your files through FTP or CPanel?

I am having access through SFTP but i cant delete this plugin.

Because you can’t log in to get into the dashboard and deactivate your plugins, then reactivate them one by one to see which one is giving you problems, a solution would be to back up all your plugin folders, then delete them and see if you can log in then. Then re-install them one by one until you find the problem

Which plugin are you referring to, and why can’t you delete it? Is that the only plugin the site is using?

It’s been a while since I worked with WordPress.

But is it not still possible to temporarily rename the plugin folder and disable them that way?

Yes, you could do that too - a much easier way.

Its an must use(mu-plugins) plugin which is causing problem.

Thats why i am not able to delete it.

Plugin name : gd-system-plugin

That’s a Godaddy related plugin. Are you using the WordPress managed hosting with Godaddy? Perhaps you should contact their tech support about this error.

Yes i am using godaddy hosting.

I will contact their tech support.

Thanks

It was Godaddy Plugin only, I contacted them and they had disabled it .

Now error is gone.

Thanks for your suggestions

Glad your site is working again.
