Can somebody help me to promote our website?

I just want to promote our website but i can’t get any traffic …so do please help me …

thanks in advance…

That’s awfully vague, @pageremoval. What’s your website about? What methods have you tried? How old is it? What kind of visitors are you looking for? Are you involved with social media?

You have many ways to promote your website. You can use social media sites and other online options like online survey and auction sites in that you can freely upload advertisement of your website. You can use E-mail promotion, you create your own web ads & also try offline advertisement.

You’ll have to do all the labor yourself, people here can advise you… give you tips and suggestions…

My advise would be to find relevant niche on social bookmarking sites, go over there and socialize… share your website and I can bet you’ll get overnight traffic. Go to high PR only. 50-80% will disappear within 2-5 yrs.

you can join in high pr forums to promote your website

Can you explain what you mean and how it works? A one-liner like this is very little help to anyone.

Hey @pageremoval
You should do the following thing to promote your website:

  1. Submit your website in Directories. (Around 300)
  2. Make Social Bookmarking Accounts and promote your content over there. (On daily basis)
  3. Make your accounts on the forums, and ask questions and write answers.
Do these tasks and let me know if you want to know more about it.

No, you can’t. Not least because PR is calculated per page, not per site, so there is no such thing as a “high PR forum”. Also, if you are posting purely with the intention of promoting your site, there is little chance that anybody will be interested in visiting your site, and every chance you will be banned for Spamming.
While you may get small amounts of traffic using those methods, both of them are of dubious value when it comes to SEO, and may have a negative effect with Google, if it determines you are in contravention of its guidelines on link schemes. https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/66356?hl=en
Again, if your primary aim is the promotion of your site, this will not help. If, however, your main aim is to be an active and contributing member of the forum, then yes - people who read your replies and find them helpful may be interested in finding out more about you, and choose to visit your site.

you can find some seo pro’s on odesk that will be able to help you and they are not expensive.

I would also like to add that submitting your website to ‘around 300’ directories would be a terrible idea. The only real/free trusted directory that I would advise you to submit your website to would have to be DMOZ.
