Can I put COLSPAN definitions in my CSS?

Hey guys, yes RP has it. I repeat, I am not good with code!! I went back and forth and frankly I’m more confused than you.

What I ended up doing was creating .RA (right aligned) but I didn’t want to confuse everyone so I tried to go back to the first one . . . I get a headache just thinking about it! I would go back and edit it but frankly we’ll all be in walkers before this thread ends! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I use a text editor called EditPad Pro (a purchased text editor) with regex capability. That’s how I edit everything including your files.
My TextPad is a commercial license, as well. And that is what I use to look at your code. It may surprise you to know I don’t actually use DW that much because it’s constantly crashing. It has these miniature buttons you need a magnifying glass to see. Do I look like I have the hands of a 4 year old? If you accidentally hit one entire panels disappear. I tell you I cannot stand having things pop in, roll up, float away and jump around. But that isn’t the worst of it. DW creates a style out of everything! Use the same color twice and you can forget about locating it again because it’s been commandeered in a style you never created and now have to have to hunt for. The thing is rapacious! Working in TextPad is tranquil.

You know I tell people, go cheap on everything but not on the core utility you will use every day: your text editor. I also have IDM’s Ultra Edit which gets you into the hex code. Way over my head 99% of the time, but every now and then I need it if TextPad chokes.

I fire up TextPad the minute I boot up. I also have Nir Sofer’s utilities at hand and I’m in and out of them constantly. I’m getting so old that by now I have to be reminded what the last thing I was working on was! Nir to the rescue. Browsing history? Nir. Open With? Nir. What’s hanging? Nir. He’s also really great with anything forensic, such as serial numbers of DVD media you want to catalog, or anything Windows wants to hide from you. Best of all, no installation. Unpack it and go.

I trust that you’ve seen the two zipped uploads by now?
Yes. Not only that I scrolled back to see your recent posts and instantly spotted the comparison you posted. It takes me longer than the average person, but once I make a technical connection such as this it is deep. The thought of what I could accomplish with templates to handle basic things like right aligning the text in a column is significant for me because it means there is less of it for me to have to wade through.

Peace.

My post #65:

There you would have found the answer to your question; another method (nth-child) than the class method you referred to here in post #64.

Your post #66:

Please…

@semicolon Errata . . .

In my post #77 I incorrectly wrote
direction: rtl;

The corrected code is:
text-align: right;
