Best way to display a toggle after collapsing it?

Hi there,

I have a toggle that displays more items when it is collapsed by a “view more” link, like this:

Ignore the styling for now as these will all be tidied up/same colour etc.

However, when I collapse the div to display the rest of the items, I’m not sure where the toggle link should be.

Should it stay where it is with the items underneath? Or maybe it should fall beneath and inline with the collapsed items?

If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great, thanks!

It definitely shouldn’t be a button amid other buttons, as in the second image. (It will just get lost in there.) Ideally, it should be styled differently from other buttons and be separate, either above those options, below or both (such as a down arrow to show more option and an up arrow to show fewer).
