Look it’s depends on the type of business.
Lets suppose you have a business and your target is each and every person of earth in that case Facebook is best social media for you because it covers largest number of humans.
Let’s suppose you have company which working to provides jobs. In that case LinkedIn will best for you, because that is place where people go to find jobs and all that.

i think best social media platform is facebook. as my personal experience telling me. all 5 social platform also helps a lot.
I have used facebook and its good for linking to people who are your friends or their friends but not real good thereafter. I find instagram is better for contacting like business by tagging keywords. I haven’t really tried twitter.
I think that Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube are powerful social media platform. Specially LinkedIn is more effective social media platform for running business well. For video marketing , You is better to me because YouTube is familiar to every guys.
Facebook is the best social media platform. Facebook help to build your audience, encourage your current customers and supporters to like your Facebook Page.

In general, there is no “best” overall. It depends heavily on a number of factors, including demographics of the users, location, type of content, and level of interaction.
We’ve been focusing our attention on Twitter and Pinterest (which really surprised me), because one aspect of our business ties in heavily with the wedding and event industries. The interaction for those industries (and those consumers!) skews heavily toward Twitter and Pinterest.
The visual aspect of Pinterest (Oh, look! Pretty!) is perfect for weddings, and the immediacy and ease of interaction on Twitter has allowed us to quickly build “relationships” with wedding and event planners.
Your company was going with the best platform in present time as you mention. FB, Link din and YouTube is the best SMO site in the world. Because they r all is very easy to handle, very user friendly to access and free to sing up. and these website’s traffic is to much higher than all existing domain in the world. I think you do not want to any other site for promote your company’s Brand value. Thank You

I have used Twitter and it’s best because in twitter you can easily find your industry niche people just typing hash (#) before the any word like #technology and you can find all technology field related profiles as well as tweets. You can easily to increase your followers on twitter with that technique.
Others are also good.

So rather than simply naming social media sites, please say why these are the ones you choose to use for your business.
When you talk about targeting a large number of audience then no network can beat facebook, youtube, twitter, linkedIn and instagram. But still it is advisable to opt for other available networks when your business niche doesn’t match the audience available.
Different social media has different advantages, As Facebook is used by everyone, it can be considered as best, Twitter does the same, LinkedIn includes more professional approach while Instagram and Snapchat is interesting due to the involvement of pictures and more hashtags.
Choose according to type of business you have or according to your requirement.

As of now Facebook and Instagram are best social media platforms. you can just post an infographic and share it with your friends.
