I have had a website now for almost a year, and enjoy learning as I go. My question is how people with websites back up their info? On dvds, external drives, both…? Have a lot of photos on mine.
It depends upon what you have at your disposal and how precious/valuable to you that your hobby is, etc. At a bare minimum you should be backing up the website to removable media like DVD occasionally especially if it contains quite a lot of photos.
i recommend doing a monthly backup and storing them on an external. make the backups like the wayback machine does every month.
online back up packages are very affordable if not free. i would prefer online if available.
