Congratulations to all the other award winners, you all deserve the categories you won, especially those who have been so friendly to me (staff and members) during my first year! Letā€™s hope 2010 is as fun and interesting as this year (and itā€™s a real shame that Dan Schulz isnā€™t here to celebrate with us).

Congratulations all. Itā€™s easy to take for granted all the amazing discussions, advice and help that are offered here day after day, but imagine where we would be without them! Fora like these are, IMO, one of the more remarkable offerings of the internet. Keep up the good work!

We donā€™t provide exact results to save face for all that were being voted upon. We used to have open results, and people got discouraged/feelings hurt when they saw how people voted. Itā€™s one thing to be nominated - itā€™s another to be voted forā€¦

That being said, some races were very close (1 vote separating them and some changed places throughout the voting process) and others were blowouts. It all depended on who the participants were and what was being voted upon.

I must add though that I am hugely disappointed in this year results. Many of the people, who I believe were most worthy of the awards, did not win. Well, that is how contests go anyway. I abide by the results, I hasten to add
