Adding a blog to pre-existing wordpress website

Im probably just retarded but i cant figure out how to add a blog to an existing website i built with WordPress.
I understand the ‘posts’ category in the admin menu, but i want to have my recent posts show up on domain.com/blog.
how do i accomplish this?

im sure its ridiculously simple. Like i said, im probably retarded but can someone explain this to me or give me a link to instructions on the codex?

Hi,

It’s quite simple.
In the WP back end create a page called “Blog”
Then head to Settings -> Reading.
Here you should set the option “Front page displays” to “A static page”, then change your Posts page to “Blog”.

Now any posts you write will be available under domain.com/blog
