Does anyone know a clean, but functional theme? I have Divi, but it feels overwhelming with all the options, and it doesn’t look as easy as they make it seem.
The page load speed was 3-4sec on a page with no content after applying advanced caching. Might be because of the additional plugins I use too.
I googled ‘simple, fast Wordpress theme’, but all the links that come up are posts with affiliate links to themes which cannot be justified as simple and fast
In the end, I found GeneratePress which seemed simple and has excellent features like sections, menu plus which can be activated or not as per use which means only the required files will be loaded on the browser.
I haven’t considered the Sitepoint themes as they seem to be niche related and I am looking for a generic one.
Genesis seems reasonable, but I have to choose between multiple child themes which is a bit of a headache.
People recommended Schema from Mythemeshop, but I have used another theme of there’s, and I hate how the menu looks
Are there other themes I should consider which load fast and have all options like the ability to upload the logo and such in theme options itself, but doesn’t have a page builder in it?
