301 redirect for disabled opencart products

Hi,

I have created a list of 301 redirects within .htaccess to a new site that seem to be working fine.

I am now looking to redirect a few opencart pages (for products that have been disabled) so that the “product not found” page isn’t shown.

I can’t seem to get these to work, I thought this could be due to a caching issue but I have tried clearing / new browser and still not seeing any change.

For example, I would like www.example.co.uk/category/subcat/product/ to become www.example.co.uk/category/subcat/

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
