I may be behind on this but I just saw live Twitter results in Google. It’s pretty slick! The feed seemed to update ever few seconds and would scroll down to show another tweet. I’m assuming it has the ability to pick up Facebook status updates too. Still showing Google News results above the live feed.
Anybody know when this went live?

I’ve seen alot of that results… and i don’t really like it… it looks messy… i think they should have something like hide or remove on those results…
Clearly I’ve been hiding under a rock. Well, I thought it was very exciting anyway… 
lol, I know the feeling.
I can’t stand twitter, I really hope this whole ‘look at me look at me’ thing just dies and goes away, we’re encouraging a generation of people to constantly tell us what they think about everything in lazy bite sized low concentration span chunks. Not good.
Does this mean our Twitter profiles along with our tweets will be indexed in Google
Twitter profiles are already indexed in Google.
Your tweets however will be indexed and shown if you run a search, then click the Show Options link at the top of the page, and then select Updates. This will show all tweets, and friend feeds statuses that include the keyword.
I’ve noticed the live twitter stream show up by default when there is a hot topic that is being updated constantly. For example, yesterdays Macworld iPad release.
