Management pros are also twittering on vacation to
1. send in their responses to a project group
2. spread there whereabouts and the current hobbies they are pursuing while on vacation
3. keep the known contacts aware of their time preferences to their groups.....

all with mini posts.....aka micro blogging.

This is a very good question. There are major differences between all these social networking groups. In case of Twitter, people finds you and relate to you by the type of keywords you use.( The subject of your posts)

Assuming I just sign up on Twitter and searching for friends or people to follow. If I'm a Democrat, I can search for " Obama" for instance. Then it will show me a list of everyone talking about Obama.(good or bad) Then I can choose who I want to follow.

If I'm a crazy "birther"(hahahhah), I can search for Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh, then mind like these two will show up and I can follow whoever I choose.

Twitter is also good because the updates is limited to 140 words, so your answers, questions should be concise. There you can also put your website for your follower. Note: You will get followers if they find your posting interesting.

Well!!!! Twitter is a Micro blogging site which lets you express you thoughts which are random in nature... there might be many things which you do in a day.. so you are there on Twitter to exchange your views with the other fellow members and also share a little bit of useful information!!!!!!!!!

Hope you make an account with Twitter and understands it very well by interacting with your members who are connected to you through other social networking sites.

That was an excellent definition of Twitter, Dan.

Twitter is good because it allows you to post little bits of information. You could think about it like an RSS feed where each line is only 140 characters or less.
