eCommerce website critique

Hello, I’ve created my first eCommerce website as part of a class for my web development program. I was hoping some kind people would spend a few minutes taking a look and posting some feedback.

Thanks!

Overall, it’s nice. I love your design, especially the Logo!!!
I think the pictures under the product menu look somewhat too big to see at a glance. If you resize them, it will be better for buyers.
And what about making the main page just a little bit more visualized with some tempting bakes pics?

I really like the site. (Just as well I’ve just had lunch, or I’d be feeling hungry. )

The site is well laid-out, with all the relevant information about the business and what makes it special clearly stated on the home page. My only criticism of that page would be the wording here, which sounds a bit odd to me:

Freshness – each order is made after the order is received, so items are delivered extremely fresh.

I would perhaps change that to “Freshness – all cookies are baked to order, so items are delivered extremely fresh”, or something similar.

On your cookies page, it might be a good idea to add “per dozen” to your prices, as that’s not immediately clear. (“$5 for one cookie? How big is that thing?”)

I like the idea of a “community” section, where you share recipes and other folk can upload their own favourites.

Overall, I found the site quite clear and straightforward to use. The one oddity is the “About Us” menu section. It doesn’t actually provide any information about the company (nor does it need to, as that’s on the home page), and what it does provide sits oddly there. I would change that to “Contact Us” and leave the feedback form there, but take out the privacy policy. It’s in the footer links, which is where I think most visitors would look for it. (Along with your “terms of service”, which you don’t have - but that’s maybe outside the scope of your project.)

I moved a post to a new topic: How to add tracking code to e-commerce site?

Wonderful.
Also, I suggest that let the navigation bar keep on the top will be better. Just by myself feeling.

Looks empty and incomplete.

No info about company, the owner.

It’s not clear what your business is about other than you have some cookies.

Is there a physical store too?

Why should I shop at your store?

The site review request was posted back in April as part of a college course, so I doubt feedback is still required.
