Hi,

I can’t work out what you want to achieve exactly as the last code you posted is not really working properly as you have fixed heights and eventually get overflow of the content and overlap of the footer.

If you want a fixed positioned footer then use position:fixed and place it at the bottom…

If you want a sticky footer suitable for responsive layouts then don’t use any other method except this one.

All other methods fail at some point or are too rigid for responsive use.
