When should removeEventListener be used?

The event listener can be removed when no interaction from a person is involved.

This thread was in part a response to my suggestion from a question in the css forum.

How do I know where all the activated classes go?

Yes. You should probably also remove the click handler after it has clicked once or else it will keep working when its not needed (although it won’t do anything). I suggested it may be a good idea to remove the event listener if you only use it once but wasn’t sure if this was good advice?
