Searchbox iframe resizing and styling depending on Javascript

Uhm that’s not the searchbox. I don’t really care about the login form.

The searchbox is on the left side and that’s what I need to resize properly and restyle

The .pl ending indicates that it is a perl script.
It would help to know which inputs it expects.
What you are asking all depends upon what you want to do. I would sketch out some plan for altering the form, i.e. which fields you would like to keep, which ones you would like to get rid of and take it from there.

Ok I will create a picture of what I’d like it to look like and post it for you guys. thanks!

Something like this would be ideal:

so basically less elements with the rest defualted to typical values so that the form validates, the banner would then go behind it and I’d have a different search design on mobiles with media queries

Man, that’s not really how it works.
It would be better to code something yourself and let us know if you get stuck.

Anyway, this is secondary.
Once you have planned out what you would like (just planned, mind, not coded), you should really contact the guys who wrote the perl script and find out what is possible from their point of view (as they will most likely have to make changes to it).

Hi Pullo, sorry I wasn’t meaning to just give you a job to do. That’s just an idea, hope that is clear.

The real problem is I don’t know how to change the code for the searchbox iframe size as it is script controlled.

The form.pl is not related to the searchbox. There’s no perl in it.

you can close this I’m gonna redo the website without that horrible frame
