Recovering data lost from hard drive

I have recently lost data from my toshiba hard rive.How can i restore the lost data?

Hi @sophialively01 and welcome to the forum.

I have previously had success with recovering data from a Seagate hard-drive by using the free Seagate recovery tools.

Check Hitachi’s website and see if they have similar software.

For retrieving the lost data from hard drive there are many recovery software tool available. So you can select the one which suits you.But the problem is that you have to act quickly before new files over write them.

There’s a lot of free software that helps you recover your data, something like Recuva perhaps. However after this I really think you should look into cloud storage. Store everything important on the cloud so that it’s secure and accessible from anywhere.

I had the same problem as you, last year I lost all my data that was on my computer. I tried using some data recovery software, however it still didn’t work, so bare in mind that it doesn’t work 100% of the time. Let us know how it goes:)

Is it data that you’ve accidentally deleted or did the HDD suffer a mechanical failure?

Thanks every one for answering.I have lost my data accidentally but I am glad that I got my data back.I used Stellar Phoenix WIndows Data Recoveyr- pro to restore my lost data.
