And, that argument is totally beside the point to my point anyway. My point has nothing to do with where PHP is better to run, but rather has more to do with the better (and overall easier) way to develop PHP applications.

I agree with you on this part. I prefer developing on my Ubuntu because it’s a lot easier to develop on. But OP’s situation is entirely different than the topic I started.
