I understand that I can’t do the mass invite through a page, I was just wondering about the app and how to get it made. If there were any directions you, or anyone else knowledgeable on this topic could point me in, I would be very grateful.
I’d be glad to dive in as deep as you want to go here but essentially the answer is get a developer, point them to the API docs [http://developers.facebook.com] and tell them what you want to do. Facebook connect is nothing crazy but it’s still real coding.
When you create an event, you can invite friends by clicking Invite Friends in the lower-left corner of the event creation screen. You can also invite friends later by going to the event’s page and clicking Invite Friends in the upper-right corner.To turn this feature on or off, click Edit in the upper-right corner of your event’s page and make your selection beside Guests can invite friends.
As previously discussed, you can invite friends to an event from a personal page, however not from a fan page, which is the circumstance we are discussing here.
It strikes me that there is no point having the Event functionality on a page if you cannot invite your fans to it. You may as well just write a normal post…
You’re thinking about the ability to broadcast out as the owner but not about the social context from the user. By being able to RSVP your page gains interaction, social validation and most importantly it’s all being shared out to the individual’s network for their friends – who are probably not your fans – to see. Remember who the customer is.
First of all you should have many friends in facebook account …after that you invite all the peoples in your account.
Hi…You can ask your friends to invite them.Your not the only one that can invite people to your event.
So if your friends invite them then they will be able to look at your event that you posted on facebook.I hope this will help you…
Considering this thread started last May, if the event hasn’t been held yet it must have been cancelled.
