I think Firefox supports it, or maybe it’s just partial support, for some but not all input types.
Another thing I noticed recently, the W3C CSS Validation Service does not recognise the :invalid pseudo-class, although it works in some browsers.
I get:
Unknown pseudo-element or pseudo-class :invalid
