Yes, doing anything for family and friends can be risky business. One of the hardest things I’ve learned to do is to say “no” or at least put things in my terms.
One summer I made plans to go to the beach with friends. My parents asked me to do some brake work on their second car so I cancelled my plans. While I was struggling with bleeder valves, they went to the beach!
Then and there I swore never again.
