Updated and redesigned site
So our site artbyjudy.com has been running for many years. Recently we completely made it over and basically now have an index file and a gallery file. Previously we had about 8 html pages on the menu and now only one. I have used 301 redirect to ensure any of the previous html pages get redirected to the one new gallery page.
We also recently registered my wifes name as a .com and I have had our hosting redirect that name to the artbyjudy site. Is this the best way to do this? Should I now submit. Hername.com to search engines. How do search engines treat multiple names and do they get concerned by them? |

You did fine there is no need to submit redirecting domain to the search engines. Sincerely, I can't remembed the last time I submitted my site to the search engines. It was probably couple years ago

Don't bother much. It will take some time but the things will be on the way.
