Shopping carts for drop shipping?

Does anyone know which shopping cart solutions support drop shipping? They don't have to be open-source. They can be paid solutions.

Specifically ... when an order is placed, the shopping cart automatically emails the drop ship vendor a copy of the order. And, if the order contains multiple products from different vendors, the system should be able to send multiple email notifications to each of the vendors.

Which shopping carts can do this?

PS - I'm not interested in Magento.

Thank you.
Ron

Ron,

I've never run across a shopping cart solution that offers that and I've looked at most of the open source ones. All the big OS ones anyway.

However, it seems like what you're looking for would be easy enough to accomplish with a custom script post order. Your script could look through the cart contents and match those contents up with each supplier and fire off an email to each supplier.

http://www.jshop.co.uk has this as a standard feature. You can set up as many suppliers as you want and obviously assign products to suppliers. The email part is fully customisable, HTML and text email templates, email routing to multiple suppliers, and you can also send additional copies to other email addresses.

I've never had need to use it but I believe it also ties in to the built in stock control facility which gives you options for dealing with out of stock products and so on.

All you need is osCommerce with an updated Multi Vendor Shipping (MVS) contribution or Magnum MVS cart.
