I have a wordpress site and when I was optimizing it, I installed the yoast plugin but still I am confused that how to add XML sitemap. Can you guys help me that how can I add add XML sitemap in my website.

Yoast’s plugin…it hasn’t kept up with the times, is full of bugs, and the developer has been unresponsive. I stopped recommending it.

If you are using Wordpress seo by yoast then XML sitemap already exit in this plugin. just go to yoast plugin and click on XML site map. check the box and click on xml site map. you can easily add this sitemap in Google and bind webmaster tool.
yes, yoast plugin automatically create site map, if you want to upload your sitemap then upload via FTP.
