It’s not quite Halloween yet, but hey, you might need a little bit of time to dress up your site for the big night. Sean recently had a great post covering spooky icons, and in this post I’ve collected some frightening fonts, fearsome vectors, and brutal brushes for Photoshop. OK enough alliteration, on to the goodies!
Photoshop Brushes
The Real Shelob has a set of traditional spooky characters.

Another set from the RealShelob, this time some lovely vintage witches.

Halloween brushes from Obsidian Dawn. These are also available as custom shapes.

Cobwebs, again from Obsidian Dawn.

Dark Wings bat brushes.

Vector Resources
Ben blogged has a nice set of scary and cute Halloween heads in vector format.

Skulls and splatters, another set from Ben blogged.

You Work For Them has a nice freebie set of vectors featuring spiders, zombies and bats.

Fonts & Dingbats
Kiddy Halloween by House of Lime

You Murderer by Blambot

Bonus
And finally, here’s a nice wallpaper from Overdeliver. Love the simplicity of this.

Feel free to add links to your own scary resources. Will you be dressing your site up for Halloween?

Thanks for the wonderful icons that I can consider using on my website for Halloween night. Though, I think I’d need something a bit smaller to fit my site better.
