I installed AIR in order to try TweetDeck and DestroyTwitter. After using both, I decided to return to the tried & true Twitterific. So AIR is installed but not in use. Still, this means the platform is there in case someone else develops an interesting AIR app….

This title was kind of surprising since I’m the only one in my circle of friends who knew AIR existed (well, until I told them). I’m still the only one using it (for development experimenting at the moment) and I still haven’t found any apps made with AIRworth while running on my OS.

When I first glanced at the article title I thought it was saying “Adobe is walking on AIR” like walks out on AIR (ditches it) lol

AIR is amazing because it let’s those creative type designers who are always thinking of wild things to do in the online space (and beyond), so now become developers and make those creative dreams happen THEMSELVES.

No longer does on need to know a friend versed in Perl, C++, Haskell, Java, etc.

With AIR, if you can creatively think it, you can build it.
