Looks great but appears to fit into the old model of design/developer world. There’s still a gap in the market for those, like myself, who work on big complicated sites and need to prototype, create functional specs and allow people to test and work up final design/code. This is how most large modern multimedia agencies work – the application is scoped out fully before anything like illustrator or photoshop are touched. Maybe there is a way to get this tool to work in our favour but we’ll be fighting against the designer or developer mindsets these tools appear to favour.

Well this is a response to Silverlight 2. I believe they are getting concerned the flash may have found a viable competitor.

Sounds great, we’ll see how it performs in real world environment… I would love to see that some of the designers actually learn something about making their “design” work… maybe they’ll lose some hair too ;-)

@Nigel: Yeah, I think maybe it was a mistake — the link was in the press release that went out at the same time as the embargo lifted on this article, so odd that they pulled it. I noticed it down too when this went up, so I suspect it was an error.

In any case, it’s back up now. :)
