Hey Josh,

Thanks for picking up my post... Just to clarify, I do agree that Yahoo and Google's query volume is not equal. That's why I point to the 3x difference in query volume between them in my post.

I see your point that user experience plays a pivotal role in their market shares. You guys at SitePoint seem to know a thing or two about that :)

However, every search counts when we're talking about monetization, especially these days. So I hope we can both agree that while SERP-fulfilled queries contribute to a good user experience, they also forgo an opportunity to make money.

I like the fact Google is more a "content provider" than just a "search engine". It makes looking up quick information like measurement and time conversion, spelling, and such much easier and faster. For Google, it keeps us using their products, and their brand first in our mind.

Just another example how Google is just as much a content provider than a search engine.

No problem, it wasn't exactly deathless prose. In fact, I'm not sure I remember what exactly I posted. LOL on my bad memory.

@BlackMax: Unfortunately, I couldn't locate it -- but I'm not sure I really know the best way to search through flagged posts with Spam Karma. :/ Sorry about that.

Josh, just a heads-up: my previous comment got flagged by the spam filter, for reasons I can't figure. You might take a look and see if it's worth posting. :)
