SSBs like Prism can be viewed as an introduction to apps that fall somewhere between the Web and the desktop. AIR just takes it to a whole new level. XULRunner is indeed similar, but I find AIR more interesting given the flexibility it offers developers in their choice of technology. The progression seems pretty natural to me. Hi Anonymous.
