Hey Charlie – thanks for the words of encouragement. The RSS feed for just the general ColdFusion category is as fine-grained as we can get – but this category doesn’t have a particularly high posting frequency anyway, usually no more than one or two articles per week.

Doh! I thought I was replying to the entry from last week (what seemed to be the first in the series). I just found both today. Since I was commenting in the later one, which happens to point out my CF 8 Server Monitoring articles, I would certainly have wanted to add “thanks very much” for including those in your news, Kay. It was totally coincidental that I found the entries today. :-)

Kay, this new series of “the week in CF” entries is really great. Others have tried before and been unable to keep it up, so I certainly do wish you the best. It would be a great contribution to the community.

I’m curious: do you have any kind of URL that would like people to just these entries? I realize they’re within your “coldfusion” category here, and no question your other entries are worth people’s time, but it would be especially cool if people could have a category or RSS feed for just these. I’m sure many would regard it as a “don’t miss” entry they’d want to see and handle specially, in the face of potentially hundreds each week from great bloggers like yourself.

If you can’t for some reason, there are other solutions (like a yahoo pipe) that could be created and shared, but I want to start by using anything you may have to offer. Keep up the good work! :-)

The word I got was that the Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flash CS3 exams were being released on the 31st. Exams for ColdFusion, along with Premiere/Encore/Onlocation, Framemaker, Lightroom, RoboHelp and Captivate are scheduled for “late spring 2008″, so those looking to certify in CF8 have some more time to study.
