Thanks Matt, I was trying to highlight local events that focus on user experience, but you're right, these all great events that sometimes have a user experience presentation thrown in there.

I can't wait for Rails Camp! I'm going to be the roving user experience camper :)

Katrina thanks for your email, that link is brilliant!

Don't forget the BarCamps that are happening in most capital cities early next year. Also there is another RailsCamp happening later this year near Melbourne.

And of course you can always go along to a Port80 mini-talks night or Web Standards Group presentation in many of the capital cities that happen either monthly or bi-monthly. Plenty to be learned at those events too.

Thanks so much for this list. We Aussies tend to miss out on all the good conferences and being the learning junkie that I am, I am always keen to find out more. Thanks again, might see you there :)

Hi Anonymous

I'll see what I can come up with, my knowledge of Australian events is more up to date because I live here, but there are quite a few UX events being run in the US and Europe, as well as other regions to a lesser extent. Where are you from?

If anyone knows of any that you think fit the bill, email me and I'll add them to the list...
