Dang, neither extensions work on Firefox 1.5 Beta.

I don’t care much for ScreenGrab, but Devboi looks mighty useful.

Went to look at the screen grabbing extension, but the page I got just offered an upgrade of Firefox :(

If I had wanted to upgrade I can do so via the current Firefox installation, so wtf happened?

Anyone else get the upgrade page I ponder…

Must say, I had to download the screengrab XPI to my desktop on then use ‘File/Open File’ to get it to install. Not sure why, but it worked.

if you get a firefox upgrade page then that probably means that your version of firefox is not new enough.

the firefox website will not allow the install of extensions on versions for which a newer version with security fixes exists.

so unless you have the latest version (which currently is 1.0.7) you will need to upgrade first before you can install any extensions.

ScreenGrab is really nice, we’re working with it and are very satisfied … it has speed up our work alot !
