<p>I have added a link-checking function to my employer's Content Management System using HTTP. It follows all the links within the current domain, and checks the first level of links to external domains. In addition, it also checks every IMG tag to ensure that the content is correctly displayed. It could use a little more work - but saves a load of time on manual and visual checks.</p>
