We’re Giving Away Free Books!

By Sarah Hawk

Yup, you read that right. And it’s not just ANY free book – we’re giving away one of our very latest titles HTML5 & CSS3 For The Real World.

I have 50 free digital copies to give away and there are two simple ways in which you could secure one.

Follow @designfestival on Twitter. I’ll be dropping links at random times during the day and the first person to click, wins.

Increase your chances by following @sitepointdotcom on Twitter and retweeting the announcements (which look like this : FREE eBook- follow @designfestival 4 chance 2 claim ow.ly/7r9dn 5 download links tweeted daily- random copies given to RTers #CSS3). We’re randomly picking RTs for prizes.

So what are you waiting for? Follow @designfestival now.

For those of you that are not on Twitter, don’t fret. We’ll be making an announcement in the coming days which means you’ll have a chance to win also.

Is it the first person to click the link posted on Twitter, or the first person to click the link AND checkout? I clicked the link on the last one posted, my shopping cart displayed the book as being FREE. I entered my name, email and phone, hit the Submit button and it refreshed with errors saying I need to fill out form fields. The price then went from FREE to $29.99 and listed credit card fields, which were not present before?!?

Sorry Steve – I stand corrected. It is the first person through the cart process. If it displays as $29.95 then don’t proceed because someone has beaten you to it. Pesky cart.
