RC9au – Good Morning Queensland

Hello RubySourcers. I’ve traveled far north of Mebourne to go to RailsCamp9 in Australia. This time around it’s held at a place called Lake Ainsworth and the cream of the Australian Rails crop will be there in full force.

I’ll be keeping you all up to date with plenty of pictures and news from RailsCamp over the next 72 hours. I was hoping to get a hat with a few cards and a feather in it to be more reporter-esque but I couldn’t find one! A friend of mine said I should say that I’m a HTML Programmer for laughs, so there’s a fair chance I’ll do just that.

Right now, I’m sitting in a dark, cold room in a hostel right near Coolangatta Airport, on the Gold Coast, but I’ll shortly be heading to the airport to catch a bus, the steel horse of the road, down south to the lake.

Unfortunately it seems that I have brought Melbourne’s Arctic weather and my cold with me, so here’s hoping that the coffee is flowing like a raging torrent to keep me going through.

To keep up to date, you can follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or keep Really Simply Syndicated.

That’s it for now, I’ll be back in a few hours with more.
