SitePoint Launches Student Accounts for SitePoint Premium

Los Angeles, CA — SitePoint, one of the world’s leading resources for web developers and designers and one of the top 700 global websites, today launched a new initiative focused on providing subsidised, low-cost accounts for students.

In 2013, SitePoint showed its commitment to students with a pilot program providing free accounts for Australian students. This new, worldwide initiative continues to build on their investment in students and web development education.

The accounts are available to anyone with a .edu email address and are open to both individual students and to educational organisations and schools. Don’t have a .edu but studying? SitePoint has you covered: provide proof of enrolment at an educational institution (to support@sitepoint.com) to access the discounted price.

“SitePoint has always been at the forefront of practical, useful education for web developers, designers and entrepreneurs, and we believe strongly in the power of both education and community in helping students reach their goals. We hope that our new student accounts provide an avenue for further training that may not have been otherwise available” said Simon Julian, SitePoint’s General Manager.
