Getting Started with Mono

As I say in the introduction to the article, I avoid Linux and stick to my friendly Windows icons and buttons. But, of course, there are times when Linux is a requirement on a project, so having .NET available in some Linux form can ease the jolt ;)

The article outlines how to get Mono up and running, how to get Apache serving ASP.NET, as well as an obligatory “Hello World” sample ;)

Philip is a Computer Science PhD student at Liverpool John Moores University. He's still not mastered guitar tabs, never finished Mario, and needs a haircut. He discusses life at http://www.miseldine.com/.
