How to Recharge Your Business During National Small Business Week
Did you know that there are an estimated 27.2 million small businesses in America? Are you a small business owner, like me, who would welcome a chance to recharge, refresh and rejuvenate your business? Next week is your time.
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is launching the 47th annual National Small Business Week on May 23 in Washington, D.C. A series of events and educational forums will honor more than 100 outstanding small business owners from across the country.
Attend the Events
Due to overwhelming response, the SBA had to close their online registration, but if you’ve already reserved your seat, you can enjoy networking and learning from the live events taking place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Conference Center in Washington, D.C.
Participate Locally
If you’re unable to attend, you can still participate locally. Contact your local District Office to find out if there will be a regional event.
Follow Along Online
Not in the U.S.? No problem. The SBA will be webcasting all of the award events and forums on their website. Visit the site next week to join in.
Check Out Last Year’s Event
Check out the videos from last year’s celebration to get an idea of what’s to come next week. The Forums are especially interesting.
Explore Small Business Resources
As you wait for the events to begin next week, check out some of the small business resources provided on the event website. There is a lot to explore, from online training to small business tools to informative resources.
I know I’ll be setting aside some time next week to absorb the positive small business mojo. Will you?
