MID-SENIOR/SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER, UP TO £75,000 This challenger bank has really managed to carve out a reputable name within the market and have redefined what it feels like to work in finance, becoming one of the UK’s most loved places to work They strive for innovation and aim to provide the most honest and beneficial financial products in the market, with customers truly at the heart of their decision making. This role will require you in their London office 2 days a week (ideally Tuesday and Thursday). Sorry, sponsorship is not being offered. >> PLEASE NOTE: This client also has a preference for candidates mainly with recent full-time experience working for in-house companies, rather than freelance or agency-focussed candidates. THE ROLE Looking for someone with around 5-7 years’ experience and end-to-end in terms of UX/UI processes and deliverables, but in reality we’re looking for someone a little more UI-weighted or can at least show some real visual design flare in their portfolio. This particular client is big on visual creativity and portfolios which are quite attention grabbing. By that, I mean things like bold colours, slick finishes, micro interactions perhaps and beautifully laid out too – not half a page of writing then a couple of boxes… rightly or wrongly. We need to show some design work that can stir up some emotion You’d be working for a bank with a strong and established design team, working on web and app experiences, working from low to high fidelity. You won't need to have extensive User Research experience but will at least need to be comfortable with User Testing and know how to use research to progress your design work. YOU WILL NEED Strong design experience, with a focus on creating exceptional UI. You’ll need end-to-end capability as a Product Designer but this role leans more towards the UI side than UX. A portfolio which can demonstrate your true design craft. Looking for innovative work rather than branding but will still want to see a good appreciation for visual design. Experience in 0-1 products would be great but will also need someone experienced with working within a large team before also. Any commercial experience with FinTech is a bonus, but not essential. But you will definitely need good B2C product experience. If this sounds like you then please apply ASAP with your CV & portfolio to stand the best chance of getting an interview.
