Founding AI Engineer (LLMs) London office x4 days per week Up to £90,000 Salary OVERVIEW Cutting-edge LLMs-based product start-up with a highly reputable investor are hiring for a Founding Engineer (AI Engineer) to join the business as a founder, working alongside the other two co-founders to take ownership of the LLMs & ML/ AI Engineering aspect of the product. You will be responsible for writing production level code and building a viable product as well as making key decisions which will shape the whole business. Your responsibilities as a Founding AI Engineer will include but not be limited to: Apply cutting-edge Gen AI techniques to successfully build a Large Language Model-driven AI product. Leverage strong coding skills to write production level code which will directly impact the core product of the business. Collaborate and work effectively with the other two co-founders, driving the product forward and making strategic decisions that will impact the entire business. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE A successful Founding AI Engineer will have the following: Academic background in Computer Science or relevant degree Must have strong coding ability in Python Must have proven experience working on an LLM-based product, preferably building something from scratch Must have a minimum of 1 years’ commercial experience (post-academia) in Large Language Models.
